MY THOUGHTS ABOUT PROJECT GHANA 2015:
I wanted to be involved in Project Ghana because I know from first hand experience just how valuable and eye-opening a trip to a different country can be for teenagers from the UK. Although I have been to several African countries I have not yet been to Ghana and am really looking forward to learning about a new culture.
So far, while we have been planning this trip to Ghana it has been good to see how people who did not know each other that well at the beginning are now building friendships with each other and are growing as a team.
It will be interesting to see how well we work together when we are faced with a Ghanaian challenge. Who knows what that might be?
The team is a fantastic mix of people with different faiths, different backgrounds and different experiences of travel and life in a different country. It will be really interesting to see how we get on and what we can learn from each other.
I am hoping to learn a lot from the trip. I am hoping too that the long journeys and the heat don’t make me too grumpy.
Let’s get the adventure started!
